The album opens with  'Sawaar Loon', a love ballad that has an old world charm. The wonderful background musical arrangements (flute, organ, 'santoor', guitar) are set up to give an old world feel. Monali Thakur has a  flawless rendition . Amit-Amitabh carve out a gem; a song that will be remembered for a long time to come as a superb love ditty. 

Next up 'Ankahee' is another example of classy and delightful musical arrangements, fine singing by Amitabh Bhattacharya and some thought provoking lyrics.  

'Monta Re'!  is a song with the rustic flavor of Bengal attached to it, not only in terms of tune but also for the intermittent use of comprehensible Bengali language, the number hooks the listeners. One is reminded of the S.D. Burman days of yore through this lovely number.

Guitar strums and superb racy arrangements herald,  situational semi-philosophical track, 'Zinda', a soft rock composition rendered brilliantly by the composer Amit Trivedi. Pensive lyrics that urge to be left alone, 'Mujhe chhod do mere haal pe' narrates the hopeless situation aptly and beautifully.

The album concludes with 'Manmarziyaan' where Shilpa Rao leads the vocals and the composer-lyricist duo Amitabh Bhattacharya, Amit Trivedi join the intermittent blissful chorus. A song that talks about the heady feeling of falling in love and the after effects, through some lovely background arrangements and nice hummable tune.
