Music, food and fun marked the IITSINE winter social that was held at the St. Brigid Keilty Hall of March 9, 2013. Over a hundred IIT alumni from the New England area attended the event. The list of attendees included IIT alum, their friends and family.

President Anil Saigal presented a few opening remarks. “IITSINE is an organization whose aim is to support the members of the extended IIT community” said Saigal as he welcomed the gathering.  IITSINE was the first PAN IIT alumni association to be founded in the USA. Other than the social events, the organization also presents seminars on a variety of topics.

The evening opened with a Vedic presentation by K. Arvind. Lovely classical dances were presented by Smriti Gupta, Shalini Sivakesava and Nikita Minocha. Vinayak and Karthik Sharma played a lovely tune on the violin while Sanjay Saxena shared a few poems. Some Bollywood number by Suresh Patel brought the program to a close. 

Bingo hosted by Anil Saigal, which has become an annual IITSINE tradition, brought some light-hearted fun. It was a wonderful family evening as usual. To find out more about IITSINE, please check their website at: http://www.iitsine.org.
