Dwarkamai Sports Team organized their first Chess and Carrom Indoor Tournament at Shri Dwarkamai Vidyapeeth in Billerica, MA on February 16, 2013. The tournament was conducted to raise money for the Perkins School of Blind.

Despite the bad weather on this day 60+ participants braved the storm and participated in the tournament. The tournament was conducted in 4 different categories (1) for children below 10, (2) for children above 10, (3) Adult - Men  and  (4) Adult - Women.

We raised about $500 for the Perkins School Of Blind. We thank all the participants who made this a splendid experience to all. We also thank our volunteers of the Dwarkamai Sports Team for their tireless efforts in making this event a success. We hope to see you all soon at our next tournament.  So Long ….
