TAGB and Vegesna foundation conducted 'Ghantasala Aradhana Utsavallu-2012" at Walpole high School Auditorium on Saturday Nov17th, 5-10 PM. Over 150 people attended the program which paid rich tributes to Amara gayakudu Sri Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao garu. This program is for a Great Humanaterian cause - helping the disabled children of Vegesna Foundation of Hyderabad  www.vegesna foundation  org. Vegesna Foundation is helping poor and physically handicapped, mentally retarded, hearing impaired and blind children in Andhra Pradesh since 1988 with the goal of enabling them to live a productive and dignified life.
 
The audience contributed generously to the foundation and enjoyed the magnificent singing of Apara Ghantasala Balakameswara rao garu, ManiSastry garu, krishna prasad garu, All the proceeds ($10,000 +) collected from this program will go towards this great cause. Sri Vamsee Ramaraju, Managing Director, Mrs.Ramaraju garu, National Coordinator (US) Mani Sastry garu, and famous singers Apara ghantasala Bala Kameswara rao garu and Krishna prasad garu participated in the program.

In his brief address, TAGB President  Sri. Srinivas Kollipara garu said that TAGB is fulfilling the social, cultural needs of community members by conducting and participating in various charity events, as part of social activities TAGB participated in Jimmy fund walk, sponsored Blood drive in partnering with Red cross and conducted Ghantasala Aaradhana Utsavam to raise funds for poor and disabled children with the help of Vegesna foundation, emphasized the need for quality and service oriented programs like this one and requested everyone to contribute generously towards the great cause. He thanked Sri. Ramaraju garu and team for their great service to poor and disabled children, also thanked Executive committee, BOT and standing committee members for working towards the success of this Humanitarian event. TANA Executive president Sri.Mohan Nannapaneni garu, Sri. Subbu Kota garu thanked and praised Sri.Vamsi Ramaraju garu and team for their great service to poor and disabled children.
 
At the end of the event, TAGB Joint Secretary, Sri.Shankar Mogapu gave Vote of Thanks to Sri Rama raju garu and family, Singers Smt.Mani Sastry garu, Sri.Balakameswara rao garu,  Sri.Krishna prasad garu for their melodious, mesmerizing singing, hosts, Smt & Sri Nannapaneni Mohan garu for their hospitality, Minerva restaurant for delicious food and he thanked the community for their generous contributions to this great humanitarian cause on behalf of TAGB Executive Committee.
