To encourage and promote the spirit of sportsmanship, India Association of New Hampshire Sports Group invited participation for their Fourth Table Tennis tournament from individuals and families based in the New England region.
IANH 4th Table Tennis tournament held on Saturday, Sep. 22, 2012 was a yet another success and proved the community’s encouragement and love for this sports. About 30 Table tennis enthusiast participated for under 15 and above 15 age groups categories as they gathered at Nashua table tennis club on the bright Saturday morning with all their spirits of sportsmanship at around 9am. First they played a friendly games for few minutes to warm up and get introduced to each other. Thereafter the groups were formed and the individuals played officially trying their best to win the games. Thanks to the IANH organizers Tej Dhakar, Vandana Dhakar, Bhanu Nagendra and Jyoti Sharma to actively keep the game proceeding for whole day. Bob of Nashua Table Tennis Club showed interest in evaluating the scores and helping out with the games rule. Also few parent volunteers who pitched in to help at the venue on demand did a great job to keep the show going .

Few Parents also showed interest to participate along with their kids. The youngest fellow to participate was just 7 year old. It was a fun filled day and everyone left with a sense of accomplishment as they contributed a great deal to encourage this sport just by participating in this event. IANH proudly organizes 2 sport event in a year for keeping the spirit of sports alive and to bring the community together. India Association was able to donate 40 backpacks and supplies to Lutheran Social Services. Lutheran Social Services approached Indian Association to help out New American coming from Malaysia, Bhutan, Burma and many other countries. One of their need for the summer was to be able to give 40 backpacks and supplies to the kids who might be going to school for the first time in this country.
One of the IANH member Neelesh Shah generously offered to pay for the all the backpacks and supplies for LSS. The backpacks with supplies were delivered to each family by the LSS staff throughout the state.
LSS is a secular organization and helps refugees and people in need regardless of their religion and belief.
