Music lovers got a special musical treat on June 9th in the form of the event “Kal aur Aaj” at Dwarkamai Sai temple, Billerica with a musical evening with Ajitabh Ranjan, Bollywood singer from Boston along with other local artists Meena Sundaram, Sudha Lakshmi Rao & Noura Khan. Ajitabh is an accomplished Bollywood singer. He has a professional album to his name (“My Name Is Ajitabh”) and one of its songs was a hit on the music chart "India top 10" on B4U. He is the singer/lyricist/composer of all his songs - a rare feat. He has also done playback singing for a couple of movies (not yet released).

The event started with Ajitabh’s hit Sai Bhajan  ( sai tera Naam longa)  from his unreleased album followed  by other popular numbers from Past and present bollywood movies which includes Rim Jhim ghire sawan from Manzil & Kaisa yeh ishq from MBKDH. Ajitabh  also sang Manchahe raste from his super hit  Album My Name is Ajitabh which was released in 2010 and was number one in B4u music chart.

Sudha rao mesmerized  the audience  with evergreen Geeta dutt song Tadbeer se bigadi  from Movie Bazi  & some classics from past & present movies. Other popular singer Meena Sundaram  captivated the music lovers with some old classics like Jogi Jab se tu aaya ( from Movie Bandini) & few other popular songs from past.  Promising singer from Boston  Noura Khan sang melodious number from Dil Apna Aur Prret Parayee along with some new songs. Event concluded with song  Zubi Zubi  from 3 idiot  by  Ajitabh Meena Sidha & Noura khan.

The show was hosted by Mr Siraj Khan (who is a connoisseur of film music, global citizen  and very popular among music lovers) & Ayesha  Zaidi.

With Baba's blessing the event was very well received. Audience loved the talk by Javed Zaidi who not only impressed with his perfect urdu but also enthralled the audience with his opening lines "Jise Masjid gaye hue saal use aaj Mandir mein bulaya hai".

The concert was organized by Praveen Misra who has also organized other musical programs for Dwarkamai that were appreciated by the devotees.
