Aamir Khan met a parliamentary panel to discuss medical problems plaguing India that were highlighted in episodes of his new television show Satyameva Jayate. Khan, along with members of his 'Satyamev Jayate' team, attended the meeting to which he was invited by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Rajya Sabha MP Shanta Kumar who heads the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Commerce. The 47-year-old actor, who is known for taking social causes to the masses successfully through his films, is expected to discuss issues like doctors taking monetary cuts and other unethical medical practices spotlighted on an episode of his debut TV show. After his show broadcast episodes on female foeticide and medical wrongdoings, the Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) temporarily suspended the registration of 13 doctors in the state who were charged of revealing the sex of foetus. President Pratibha Patil Wednesday honoured filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar with Ganga Sharan Singh Award along with Shyam Benegal and Girish Karnad for their contribution to Hindi cinema. Looks like Farah Khan is all set to take her forthcoming film to a larger-then-life level. She is having not one or two, but five male actors playing prominent roles in the project. While Shah Rukh Khan is playing one of the leads, he is also producing the film. With Boman Irani already featuring in the cast, Farah apparently is on the lookout for a new face for the film. The director confirms the news saying, “Yes, Shah Rukh and Boman are confirmed for the film till now. Sunny Deol, who was last seen in 'Yamla Pagla Deewana' in 2011, is gearing up for his next film 'Singh Sahab the Great' . I am making a film with Sunny Deol. The film is titled 'Singh Sahab the Great' and Sunny plays a sardar in the film.
