Hindi Manch is back with one of the most famous musical events of the area – Hindi Manch SaReGaMaPa 2012; a Bollywood based musical/singing competition. We cordially invite all music enthusiasts in the New England area to participate in this New England tradition!

The time of the year is here again when the most vibrant Indian singing competition “New England Hindi Manch Sa Re Ga Ma Pa” will be held among singers, music professionals and enthusiasts. The event received great appreciation and feedback over the past 2 years since its inception in 2010, from the community living in Greater Boston area. Music experts and critics who attended from India and USA have compared it to India’s best televised events in terms of program quality and singing performances.

This year, the audition entries have been vibrant and interesting and the finale promises to be a fun-filled and vigorous event. In addition,  Hindi Manch will present  short plays from the iconic films “ Mughal-e-Azam” and “ Teesri Kasam” with song performance and enactment of a popular song from each of these films featuring local artistes.

Preetesh Shrivastava, President of Hindi Manch elaborates, “One of the key objectives of Hindi Manch is to bring people who know Hindi and /or want to know Hindi together. For this, Hindi Manch organizes various events and the prestigious singing competition ‘Hindi Manch SaReGaMaPa’ is one of them. We go to various towns for auditions. While we agree that it is a competition, the aim is to bring music lovers/Hindi songs lovers together which is why people’s participation is important. So if you love singing and Bollywood songs then we invite you to participate in the auditions to meet other music/Hindi song lovers. We promise all audition participants at least one chance to sing on stage during our houseful Finale event.  We want to emphasize that participation is more important than winning, so please don’t hesitate to give your entry for auditions. You will have fun, gain experience and make new friends and engage in the vibrant cultural community in the New England area.

‘Hindi Manch' is a non-profit organization whose aim is to bring people who know Hindi, or who want to know Hindi together by cultural, social and educational programs and activities.  We welcome everyone who enjoys Hindi language irrespective of their belonging to any caste, creed or culture. Here Hindi/Urdu refers to all the dialects like Bhojpuri, Awadhi, Bra, Khariboli ...to name a few.

Music is an international force and has the power to bind people and as VP Chaitanya Godsay states “Hindi Manch is trying to bring all communities together through 'NEHM Sa Re Ga Ma Pa'' The other founding members  Mohan Dali, Shubha Chungi, Pradeep Shukla and Chaitanya Godsay would like to see more and more people joining Hindi Manch.

As you might expect from the quality and production of the last 2 years events, you will find a great evening of entertainment with many exciting items in this year’s grand finale of “Hindi Manch SaReGaMaPa” and all of us are committed to make the upcoming Sa Re Ga Ma Pa event the best singing competition and entertainment event of the year.  The event will showcase quality musical performances by participants and local artistes .

Hindi Manch presents a unique perspective with acting, music, Hindi literature, poetry oriented programs enhancing language and culture in New England also bringing out hidden talents of individuals including kids.
