New England Hindi Manch (NEHM) is proud to present “Ek Haseen Shaam. Hasne-Hasaane Ke Naam” (5-9 PM,April 28th, 2012, Venue: Diamond Middle School, 99 Hancock Street, Lexington) – this year’s  program will have a comedy play – Mirchi-Cola, stand-up comedy routines, humorous poetry (haasya kavitaye), short comedy skits and much more.. It will be an evening with non-stop laughter and side-splitting humor in Hindi language – a show not to be missed. This is a great opportunity to tickle your funny bone and enliven the evening with laughter. Please spread the word to your family and friends and make sure to attend this fun event!

“Mirchi Cola” a comedy play penned by our very own Shri Preetesh Shrivastava (President Hindi Manch) is set in a restaurant with varying personalities and characters coming through. There is romance, discord, suspicion, hilarity and much more as the plot unfolds. I can assure you that you will be in splits and guffawing throughout this play! A number of talented local actors are participating in this play and Preetesh will be releasing his book of the same name at this event. Hope to see you all there!

Our purpose at Hindi Manch is to educate and aid in the preservation and growth of Hindi and related languages in the New England area for current and future generations by organizing literary and educational activities.

We host events in Hindi and related languages in the area to bring people interested in speaking Hindi together and encourage local talent while promoting the language. The events we have organized since 2010 and plan to continue yearly are SaReGaMaPa, a popular singing competition featuring local performers, Hindi Plays, like “Ballabhpur Ki Roopkatha”, “Bin Bulaye Mehmaan” and “Thief Police”, Bal Manch and Ek Haseen Shaam..
