The Meadowbrook Waldorf School of West Greenwich, RI will host “A Night in India”, an evening of fine dining, classical Indian music and dance and an Indian Bazaar on Saturday, April 5 from 5 – 9 pm at the Chorus of Westerly Performance Hall, 119 High Street in Westerly RI.

This celebration will feature an elegant meal provided by India Restaurant, voted best Indian restaurant in RI for the past six years. Durga Krishnan, a graduate of the Carmatic College in India and primary disciple of the renowned veena maestro, the late Sri Dr. Chittibabu will perform on the veena.

A highlight of the evening will be a performance of Kathak Dance by members of the Boston branch of the Chhandam Institute of Kathak Dance led by Gretchen Hayden, a senior disciple of Kathak Dance Master, Chitresh Das.
