Katrina Kaif, one of the most sought after actresses in Bollywood, has reportedly been offered 1 crore rupees for making a 10-minute appearance in Kochi. The 27-year-old will walk the ramp at an upcoming fashion event, on March 25 and take home the hefty amount. Southern stars reportedly don't even fetch half of what their Bollywood counterparts manage to get for ramp shows and other promotions.  Shah Rukh Khan was said to have taken home a cool 2 crore rupees when he paid a visit to Kochi sometime back.

Nitesh Tiwari and Vikas Bahl directed "Chillar Party" was named the best children's film at the 59th National Awards announced here Wednesday. The nine child artists in the film also shared the best child artist award along with Partho Gupte, who played the lead role in "Stanley ka Dabba". "Chillar Party" also won the prestigious award for the best original screenplay for writers Nitesh Tiwari, Vijay Maurya and Vikas Bahl.
