An Introduction to the Movers and Shakers in Medicine Series
The goal of "Movers and Shakers in Medicine" series is to write about the life of some extraordinary Doctors whose contributions in the World of Medicine have changed the life of many of us. They are the real trail blazers. They are known, not just for their professional excellence but also for their extraordinary contributions to our Indian-American community and to the society.
Every life has a story and we want to bring you the unique stories of their lives, their challenges and what inspires and motivates them. To quote Maya Angelou "The idea behind it is to write it, so people hear it and it slides through the brain and goes straight to the heart". We know them as famous doctors and as we write these stories, we hope to get to know their human side and gain an insight into their passions and inspirations.
