With about 700 people in attendance, Boston Sound and Light Company put together one of the biggest New Year's party. The party held at the Radisson Hotel in Nashua NH and was quite a celebration and something fun for people of all ages. Men and women in their finest mostly western party wear danced the night away to the music of Deejay Yogz.

"We cannot believe the enthusiastic response we have had for this event" said Jharna Madan who was event planner for the evening. She was ably assisted by Wedding Planner Tanvi Desai who helped keep the party flowing smoothly. Bollywood Grill served as caterers for the evening.

As one walked into the ballroom the wonderful decorations from Shobha Shastry's Alankar Decors and the lovely lighting by Boston Sound and Light cause the attention of the attendee. The event began with a dazzling Winter Extravaganza Fashion show organized by Seema Kapoor of Choonri Collection. The stunning models showed off wonderful pieces of winter wear. This was followed by a Bollywood workshop by Geeta Vallecha.

What followed was just fabulous dance music that had everyone on their feet. "For NYE 2011, we wanted to prove Boston that music is the most important element in throwing an event, and with my buds, Deejay D-Xtreme, DJ Krupal Soni, Dholi Rohan Vaswani we put it out there and left it on the line" said Deejay Yogz who kept the party flowing smoothly with not a second of dead time. The now famous "Kolaveri Di" that was the most popular song of the year globally was played a few times to the absolute delight of the audience.

While adults were dancing away,  children had plenty of activities in other rooms that were specially arranged for them. Kids got wonderful goody bags sponsored by One Stop Fun, Nuttin But Good Times, Tulika Books and Bobo's indoor play area. UMA store provided gift totes to all adults. There was raffle that included wonderful prizes including an Ipad2 sponsored by Meeta Gill Remax, 32" Flat Screen TV sponsored by Cafe India.

For people looking to greet the New Year with energy and enthusiasm, this certainly was a place to be. Lokvani congratulates the Boston Sound and Light Company on putting up a fine show and looks forward to next year's extravaganza.
