How Successful People Do Things Differently? Some Tips!
|
|
Dr. G. Balakrishnan 01/02/2012
Successful people are generally specific, goal oriented, decide when and where to take each action, like normal workouts of people who know exactly before work out how far you have left to go.
They are honest and regular in monitoring their progress;
They do know how well they are doing;
They check their own progress religiously depending on the goal(s).
They are realistically optimistic - engage in lots of positive thoughts - how likely they are to reach their goal(s); they believe in their ability enormously - helpful in creating and sustaining their own motivation in whatever they do, they do not mind even if it is how difficult it may be.
Most of their goal(s) worth achieving need their time, planning, effort and persistence that is what motivational psychological studies show.
Thinking things will come to grip easily and effortlessly.
They just focus on getting better, rather than just being good enough.
They have another important trait 'Grit', a steadfast commitment to long term goals.
They persist in the face of any challenges very logically certainly not emotionally
Gritty people educate themselves by their target like education, in a most disciplined way like West Point Cadets, irrespective of all odds in store before them e.g. ' U S Navy Seals' whose one mission was to get at Osama Bin Laden at all costs in a most swift way even by time dimension.
They did and accomplished the task in a matter of maximum 40 minutes from start to finish in a most ruthless way in spite of all imminent dangers for their own lives. That is mission. That is 'Grit'.
They do not believe in ‘Fate’ as such but they believe in their own efforts.
This WPM can be used both positively and negatively by ordinary men only more effectively than highly learned.
Being a good man is not good enough but should be shrewd and clever too with ability to maneuver. Even that also is WPM.
