Deepika Padukone wanted her own romantic melody in Aarakshan. Influenced by love ballad in Raajneeti created between Ranbir and Katrina, Deepika asked for a number as romantic as More piya. That was how the number Achcha lagta hai was born. Deepika sent Prakash Jha a very cute message saying she wanted a love song on a par with Raajneetiâ€™s More piya, with a smiley that Prakash just couldnâ€™t resist. He tweaked his script and made space for the love song.

Mallika Sherawat is amused to know that even though she is not part of Murder 2, the cast insists on talking about her! Jacqueline Fernandes went on record calling her a sexy heroine and then Emraan Hashmi not so fondly saying in print that he's not interested in following the sexy siren's career. Kay Kay Menon has lost an ad film contract apparently due to his negative roles in movies like Bheja Fry 2 and Bhendi Bazaar! Hitlist spoke to the actor and learnt that he is quite miffed with a popular ad agency that signed him to do a commercial with their client ICICI Bank and then sacked him saying that their client had issues with his villainous roles. The actor says, "A certain Mukesh Chhabra from the casting department of a popular ad agency contacted me for an ad film for ICICI. After hearing the brief of the ad, I agreed to do it and quoted my price, which they found a bit high. Anurag Kashyap called me and on his reference I reduced my price.

The debut producers of Love Breakups Zindagi, Zayed Khan and Dia Mirza have been raving about a surprise package in their maiden venture. Well, we have uncovered it. The surprise is none other than Shah Rukh Khan, who is doing a special appearance in the film. A source from the crew spills the beans, "Zayed wanted to rope in his brother-in-law Hrithik Roshan for the cameo, but his dates were not available. Dia told Zayed that they should approach Shah Rukh. Since they both have known him and have worked with him they decided to request him to do a special appearance. SRK, who has always valued friendship and is eager to help his friends agreed to do so."

Asha Bhosle received the Lifetime Achievement Award at a film awards event in Toronto. But the songstress has been saying that she is just beginning her career. She has a reason to say that, since she makes her acting debut in Subhash Dawar's Hindi film Maaee. The film has Padmini Kolhapure as her co-star. What is age, just a number for Asha.
