Mark your calendars! New England Hindi Manch proudly presents a double –header event on Saturday, May 7^th, 2011. The first event is Bal Manch, a children’s talent show followed by Ek Haseen Shaam: Hasne hasane ke naam, an evening of comedy and laughter. Baal Manch (3-5:30 PM, May 7^th, 2011) is a talent show for children in the Hindi language. Small skits, kavitayen, group songs, solo songs, Nritya Natika - any such performances by children in the Hindi language are welcome.  Please enroll your children in this event and come in large numbers to support these young talented performers!

Ek Haseen Shaam. Hasne-Hasaane Ke Naam (6:30-9:30 PM, May 7^th, 2011) – An evening of comedy and fun, this event will include Hindi stand-up comedy, short comedy plays, humorous poetry in Hindi and more. This is a great opportunity to showcase your humorous side and enliven the evening with laughter. Please spread the word to your family and friends!

Our purpose is to educate and aid in the preservation and growth of Hindi and related languages in the New England area for current and future generations by organizing literary and educational activities.

We host events in Hindi and related languages in the area to bring people interested in speaking Hindi together and encourage local talent while promoting the language. The events we have organized and plan to continue are SaReGaMaPa, a singing competition featuring local performers, Hindi Plays, like the recently staged “Ballabhpur Ki Roopkatha”.
