The Boston Pledge, an organization that is doing phenomenal work serving the under-privileged in India is hosting a fundraiser featuring two wonderful presentations on Sunday, April 24 at 3:00 pm at the Keefe Technical High School auditorium in Framingham MA.

Navarasa Nayikas is a classical dance presentation that blends different forms of Indian classical dance.  A creative and collaborative exposition of the nine fundamental moods of classical Indian Dance by professional classical dancers and Gurus from the Greater Boston area, this show has received rave reviews.  The fantastic music and the creative choreography make this a “must see” event.

Dance teachers Ranjani Saigal, Thenu Rajan, Sujatha Meyyappan, Sridevi Thirumalai, Neena Gulhati, Mari Shakti Muthuswamy, Sangeeta Vijey, Jeyanthi Ghatraju, Mouli Pal, Jayashree Mohapatra, Sushila Bambani, Jayashree Bala Rajamani and Sunanda Narayanan have come together to create this fabulous creation.

The dance will be followed by a music segment by the popular music group Lahari.

Bollywood and Beyond: A gala evening of Hindi and Multi-Lingual Indian film Music. A concert featuring a musical bouquet of melodious and foot-tapping numbers from classic to contemporary times.

All proceeds go to help The Boston Pledge, a great organization that is impacting the lives of people at the bottom of the pyramid.
