Rang De Basanti - Holi Celebration

On March 19th 2011, over 180 people, families with kids, groups of friends, dance participants......and zealous crowd from Massachusetts and New Hampshire got together at All Saints Episcopal Church in Chelmsford to celebrate festival of colors Holi.
The guests were welcomed by a fusion classical dance performance by kids which was choreographed by Deepa Talwarkar. 'Rang De Basanti' was a dinner and dance event where three course authentic Indian food was served by 'Madras Grill'. DJ Sharad could really rock the dance floor with Bollywood, Bhangra numbers and selected Holi songs.
Raffle prize winners were announced after dinner and all the kid attendees received free piggey banks.
Among all the music, dance, performances, mouth-watering food ..holi enthusiaasts waited for dry colors. The colors were provided by hosts after dinner in unlimited quantities and everyone played with them to their heart's content. A recently moved Indian family from Texas remarked 'It is a warm and colorful welcome for us'....Kyon na ho? Holi Hai!!!!!
