Press Release 11/10/2010
Kumu Consulting and Cradles to Crayons are working together to encourage families this winter to provide new and gently-used children’s winter clothing items to kids-in need in Massachusetts.
Bring your donations of warm winter clothing (sizes newborn-adult L), winter coats, winter boots and shoes (sizes newborn-adult 9), hats and gloves, and new socks and underwear to Cradles to Crayons during the month of November. Donations are accepted Tuesday-Friday 10 AM to 3 PM, 11 AM to 2 PM on the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Saturdays of the month and the 3rd Sunday of the month at the 82 Myrtle Street in Quincy location.
Cradles to Crayons provides low income and homeless Massachusetts children from infancy to age 12 with everyday essentials. Through distribution partnerships with shelters, health centers, schools, parenting programs and day cares, they donate directly to those at-risk and in-need, free of charge.
All donated goods must be new or top quality, and contain all pieces and instructions. Cradles to Crayons cannot accept goods that are missing pieces, broken, dirty, stained, torn, worn out, written on, or clearly out of style. Bring your donations in plastic bags or sealed boxes to keep them clean and organized. Donations are tax-deductible and receipts are available upon request.
