Salman Khan's movies have featured some of the finest romantic numbers and danceable songs. Sajid and Wajid, who started their career by providing a hit number for Salman Khan, are trying their luck again with this soundtrack. Lalit Pandit has provided assistance for a few tracks.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan with his stellar voice and typical qawwali style is a perfect fit for ”Tere Mast Mast Do Nain”, a romantic number built around qawwali arrangements. While there may be nothing new to comment here, the classic nature of the song makes it a beautiful start to the soundtarck. Lyrics by Faiz Anwar are lovely.

”Munni Badnaam” is an item number and one can imagine Mallika Sherawat grooving to the songs. Music my Lalit Padit is catchy and the singing is by Mamta Sharma and Aishwarya fits the mood of the song.

"Chori Kiya Re Jiya" has lovely orchestral arrangements and of course the stellar singers Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghosal make this a number to remember.

"Hud HUd Dabangg" sounds like a copy of the title track of Omkara. Sukwinder Singh is stellar as usual but one wonders about its
staying power considering it is so simlar to the "Omkara" title track.

“Humka Peeni Hai” is a  typical village based song by Sajid and Wajid.  Master Saleem, Wajid and Shabab Sabri works well against the folksy lyrics by Jalees Sherwani. The tune sounds familiar and again nothing really original..

The track also features a remix of Tere Mast Mast Do Nain with Shreya Ghoshal who is superb and a couple of other remixes.

The”Dabangg Theme” is interesting because alongside the music it contains some
interesting and funny dialogues by Salman Khan.

The album has nothing original to offer and yet promises to be a hit thanks to great vocals and wonderful catchy and familiar tunes. Salman Khan has a massive following and if the dance numbers are as good as one expects, this track can be quite a hit.
