Anoop Kumar 07/21/2010 (This article is sponsored by Monique Kornfeld, Esq.)
Akshay Kumar has great plans as to what he can do after his
latest film Khatta Meetha releases. And no, it's not signing on another film. Akshay
has decided that he and wife Twinkle will go trekking and biking in the remote
areas of Jammu. Akshay got the idea when he recently visited the place to shoot
a song for Action Replayy. He was impressed with the unspoilt beauty of the
place and the soothing effect it had on him. He realised that many places in
Jammu were accessible only by two wheelers or on foot, so he has decided to go
on this trip with his wife. The two will be pitching their tents wherever they
are for the night during their adventure. Akshay has no worries about crowds
mobbing him on the way, especially as he will be without his security cordon.
He feels that after dealing with crowds of more than 15, 000 people during the
promotion of Khatta Meetha, he will be able to prevent being accosted during
his travels. Shah Rukh Khan has roped in Chinese-American actor Tom Wu
for his home production "Ra.One". "...a big welcome to Tom Wu in
the film cast. He is so humble and such a sport... really nice to have him on
board, " Shah Rukh, 44, posted on his Twitter page. Tom Wu, a martial arts expert, was earlier
seen in films like "Revolver", "Shanghai Knights",
"Batman Begins" and "Tomb Raider II". According to earlier reports, action legend
Jackie Chan was approached for a role in the action flick. "Ra.One" will also see Arjun Rampal
and Kareena Kapoor. American singer Akon too is part of the crew as he recorded
a song for the movie. The film is expected to release in 2011. Salman Khan is keen to have Asin as his co-star in Ravi
Chopra's next venture, slated to roll next year. The producer-director is,
however, keen to cast Priyanka Chopra. The
film also has Sallu's Partner co-star Govinda. The team of upcoming movie Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai now
can have a sigh of relief as the plea of Haji Mastan's son has been rejected
and now the movie can be released on the scheduled date. So, producer Ekta
Kapoor is feeling much relieved now. However, Balaji Telefilms has been
directed to show a disclaimer before the film starts stating that the film has
no resemblance to the alleged former smuggler Haji Mastan. You may also access this article through our web-site http://www.lokvani.com/ |
