Asin has been criticised for shooting for Ready in Sri Lanka.  Apparently, certain politicians in Chennai are gambling on a recent decision by a filmmakers' association that they will boycott films that are shot in Sri Lanka. And they are making it very clear that Asin has upset them by shooting in Sri Lanka for Ready with Salman Khan.  But Asin is unsure as to why she is being blamed, since she did not decide on the location. As an actress, she has to shoot where the director decides wants her to.  This has caused fresh worry for the actress who will be travelling to Tamil Nadu to complete a Tamil film she is acting in. She hopes this trouble will not cause her problems during its shoot.

Romantic comedy "I Hate Luv Storys" has collected approximately Rs.21.5 crore in the domestic circuit in the first three days of its release and hero Imran Khan says he is surprised by the "grand opening" it has got. "I feel honestly very surprised with the numbers. I had told (director) Punit Malhotra that it's a very good film and I was quite confident with the way it was promoted, but I didn't expect such a opening, " Imran told over the telephone.  "I Hate Luv Storys" is a rom-com where Imran plays a bit of a womaniser and also stars Sonam Kapoor.  Asked if he thought it was wise to release the film after "Kites" and "Raavan", he said: "I think everything went in our favour. There are the things you can't plan for and everything happened by good fortune."

Sonu Niigaam has deleted his micro-blogging account. He states: 'Quitting twitter guys. Taking with me memories of the interactions!" The singer was miffed with comments about his dressing sense by a section of the media and hit back, saying, "It was natural for people to frown at stuff (I wear) as they can't afford in a lifetime". Later he stated: "Felt that just because some people seemed to be getting too personal with me, I decided to give it back... so the old Sonu Niigaam resurfaced!
