New England SaReGaMaPa Grand FINALE EVENT!!! June 26th 2010
Attention Music Lovers! Mark your calendars for the first ever singing competition in the New England area! New England Hindi Manch (NEHM) proudly presents the GRAND FINALE EVENT OF the New England SaReGaMaPa singing competition on Saturday, June 26th, 2010 at the Sorenson auditorium at Babson college in Wellesley, MA. Tickets are available at www.hindimanch.org. New England SaReGaMaPa is a musical event featuring Hindi songs from Bollywood films. The event will start at 12 PM (noon). 29 semifinalists will be participating in the semifinal round which will be open to the public and will take place between Noon and 5 PM. The final event will be held from 6 PM onwards. 8 finalists will regale the audience with their incredible talents as the SaReGaMaPa winners in the junior and adult category are decided.
Audience participation and encouragement will be very important as we also have a special People’s choice award which will be determined by an audience poll. So, bring your family and friends, enjoy wonderful music and cheer your favorite contestant by voting for them and help us make the show a grand success! Please buy your tickets online immediately as we expect to have a sold-out show.
We are proud to introduce the distinguished judges who will be entrusted with the task of choosing the finalists and crowning the winners. These include Minu Pushottam, the famous playback singer who sang for such stalwarts like OP Nayyar and Roshansaab ( Her famous songs include “Huzur-e-wala jo ho ijaazat†from the film Yeh Raat phir na aayegi and the lovely song “Peetal ki mori gaagari†from Do Boond Paani, Sohail Rana, the world-renowned composer and music director of innumerable songs and ghazals including “Aaj jaane ki zid na karo†and Pranab Biswas, a classical singer who has also rendered his voice in some bollywood films such as “ Sakhi Piya†from Khoya Khoya Chand, the theme song from Eklavya and a song “ Ishq Barse “ from the just-released Rajneeti.
There will be group songs by the participants and performances by some popular local artistes set to live music by a group of very talented local musicians. You will enjoy a wide variety of film songs including old, new, pop and semi-classical numbers. We promise you a fun-filled show and an exciting finale. We hope to see you all there!!!
A number of volunteers, music teachers and performers from the area have put in a lot of effort to bring this incredible show to you. Approximately 100 participants went through a rigorous audition process to qualify for this event. Their talents, energy and enthusiasm are sure to impress you!

New England Hindi Manch (NEHM) is a unique and vibrant organization in the New England area.
