MassGOP Endorses Republican Candidates For Statewide Office

With 3,326 delegates attending, the 2010 Massachusetts Republican State Convention was the best we've had in decades. Republicans delegates, guests and candidates from 40 senatorial districts and 351 cities and towns across Massachusetts gathered at the DCU center in Worcester on Saturday, April 17 to restore balance on Beacon Hill. The Republican delegates unanimously supported the nomination and endorsement of Charlie Baker for Governor at the 2010 Republican State Convention.
"The 2010 Massachusetts Republican ticket is the best we’ve had in decades. I’m proud to stand with these men and women who will restore balance in state government. All of them share our Republican vision for creating jobs, controlling spending and lowering taxes. Powerful change will result when our great candidates and our motivated grassroots efforts combine this election season,†said Jennifer Nassour, Chairman of the Massachusetts Republican Party. The Massachusetts Republican State Committee endorsed the following candidates for statewide office at the convention: Governor – Charlie Baker Lieutenant Governor – Sen. Richard Tisei Treasurer – Rep. Karyn Polito Auditor – Mary Connaughton Secretary of the Commonwealth – William Campbell **Kamal Jain, candidate for Auditor, qualified for the Republican ballot as well.**
