Mallika meets Johny Depp on twitter and then at
the event before being honored at a private dinner in the Pacific Palisades by
industry heavyweights. It seems Depp
told the bold beauty that he's 'looking forward to seeing her upcoming movie
Hisss,' which thrilled the actress no end. Mallika said, 'It was a great
pleasure meeting one of America's greatest actors. He's even better looking in
person and to top it all he told me that he is really looking forward to
watching the Hisss trailer. I'm sure it'll give him sleepless nights!" After her 12 roles in What's Your Rashee?, Priyanka will now
act opposite seven different men as her husbands in Vishal Bhardwaj's next film
which is aptly titled 'Seven'. So, who is Piggy Chop’s first chosen husband in
the film? Well, according to latest buzz, Vishal has signed south superstar
Mohanlal to play one of her husband. The Southie heavyweight, who was seen in
Bollywood in Ram Gopal Varma’s Company and Aag, finally approved of Vishal’s
script. Now the filmmaker is left with the task of casting six more heroes all
of who will be wedded in his film to the gorgeous Priyanka. The film will also
star Hrithik Roshan in the lead roles. More details are awaited. Is Vivek Oberoi getting a raw deal? The Kurbaan promos
feature Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor all the way. Vivek Oberoi who plays
the third main protagonist is hardly glimpsed in the entire promotional campaign,
triggering off a widespread feeling that things are not so right between Vivek
and the Kurbaan team. However the explanation for Vivek’s absence is far more
bizarre than the nomal raw-deal rona-dona. Apparently his role is so deeply affiliated to
the plot’s suspense that every moment shown in the promos featuring Oberoi
would have the tendency to give away the story. Laughs director Rensil d’Silva,
“It’s a very strange situation. Vivek is one of the central characters. But
almost every scene of his is a dead giveway of the suspense. What do we do?†Rensil
has discussed the problem with Vivek. “And he is absolutely cool with being the
band mutthi of the film. I’ve spoken to Vivek and explained the dilemma. He was
cool with not being featured in the promos that much. He said to do whatever is
right for the film because when the film opens the truth about the extent of
his role would be out. Vivek has worked very hard in the film. He had to
acquire a true New Yorker’s accent and not the kind Indians get at the John F
Kennedy airport.†Nana Patekar is launching his son, Malhar as an actor, with
his second directorial venture which will be based on autism. Prahaar (1991)
was Nana’s directorial debut. Prakash Jha will be producing the film, despite
claims that he had broken off all ties with Nana. The presenter of the film
will be Reliance Big Pictures. The film will be a story about a father and his
autistic son and stars Nana, Om Puri, Naseeruddin Shah and Atul Kulkarni. The
female lead of the film is yet to be chosen. Abhishek Bachchan who in a unique turn plays father to dad
Amitabh Bachchan in Paa states that shooting for the movie was an exciting
journey every day.“It was a wonderful experience more so because I have been
calling him Pa for the last 30 years and here I was his father. I took
advantage of admonishing him on the sets. I was asking him to eat his food on
time and go to bed on time. Only when his make up was off he was my Pa again.
The relationships we are exploring here is different. Pa is a trip. All the
paternal instincts in the roles have been references of his own childhood. My
Pa often carried me on his back. Now I am carrying him on my back in the movie.
I have tried to as good as him. Pa was very naughty on the sets. He had a whale
of a time playing a kid in the movie. What I was surprised was at the energy
with which he attempted the role. He was fantastic. He has also sang a song in
the voice of a 13 year old. I don’t think anybody will be able to match up-to
him, ,†says Abhishek . You may also access this article through our web-site http://www.lokvani.com/ |
