10/15/2009 Kaddu Ki Sabzi 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder 2-3 Green Chilies, chopped Salt to taste 1/4 tsp Garam Masala Powder 1/2 tsp Coriander Powder 1 tsp Sugar 1/2 tsp Amchoor (dried mango powder) 1/2 tsp Methi Dana (fenugreek seeds) A pinch of Hing (asafetida) 1 tbsp Oil • ½ Kg Pumpkin • 1 Cup Mustard Oil • ½ Cup Salt • 3 Tsp Mustard Powder • 1 Tsp Turmeric • 2 Tsp Fenugreek Seeds • 2 Tsp Red Chili Pepper Method: • Cut the pumpkin along with skin into long slices. • Place it in hot water for 15 minutes. • Drain the water and allow it to cool. • Heat the oil, cool it and mix all the Ingredients: to it. • Rub this mixture on the pumpkin pieces. • Place this pickle in a clean jar and keep shaking it at least once in a day. • Use it after 3 days. Pumpkin (Yellow) - 1 lb Pumpkin Kheer or pudding Ingredients: Red Pumpkin – 1 small sized Method: Grind the cooked Pumpkin in a mixer grinder with Cashews and Cardamom and prepare a smooth paste. Transfer the Pumpkin paste into a heating vessel on low flame. Add boiled milk and Sugar to it and stir well for 10 min. Remove from the flame.
