“TiECON East returns: arms you to tackle uncertain times”

TiE Boston’s annual flagship conference TiECON East is here again, this time with a theme well-suited to the current economic scenario:

‘SUSTAINABLE INNOVATION’- Creating Opportunity in Today’s Economy

21^st - 22^nd May 2009, Westin Hotel, Waltham MA

Over a period of two days entrepreneurs/ intrapreneurs, luminaries, VCs and students from in and around greater Boston and beyond will gather to LEARN, CONNECT and BE INSPIRED!

This year TiECON East features very successful local entrepreneurs who continue to innovate and create opportunities in our community.

Keynote speakers include:

Three panels in each track will unveil ideas and innovations in areas of technology, strategy, finance and policy.

In addition to emerging fields like Life Sciences and IT/Technology, this year TiECON East introduces 2 new tracks with a focus in Energy/Clean Tech and Social Enterprise.  These tracks will showcase people, innovative ideas and companies in renewable energy and socially mission driven organizations.

Entrepreneur -Forum

The “Entrepreneur Forum” returns this year with two levels a) for Start-Up stage companies and b) for Growth stage companies. It is an exciting session aimed at providing entrepreneurs with a forum to seek advice and show their mettle. The Entrepreneur Forum is a platform for entrepreneurs seeking capital and advice to interact one-on-one with industry experts from the Venture Capital world, Angel Investors, TiE Charter Members and service partners from the Legal, Finance and other industries.
