Consul General Prabhu Dayal's " Meet and Greet " in Boston
On February 6, 2009 the law offices of Nixon Peabody LLP and the New Hampshire Cultural Diversity Awareness Council welcomed Indian Consul General (Ambassador) Prabhu Dayal of the Indian Consulate in New York, to Nixon Peabody's office in Boston, MA. The luncheon was a private "Meet and Greet" with the Consul General and invited guests from government and private sectors. During the luncheon Consul General Dayal spoke on the friendship and similarities between India and US, the 2 large democracies in the world. And promised the support of the indian consulate in furthering economic, cultural and business ties between India and the Commonwealth.
Attendees at the "Meet and Greet" included Wayne Jennings NH Cultural Diversity Awareness Council, Kumu Gupta Advisory Board Asian American Commission of MA and representing Mayor Menino of Boston were - John Palmeri Director of Boston Redevelopment Authority; Rod Fraser Boston Fire Commissioner and Dave McLaughlin Boston World Partnerships Executive Director. Among other invited guests were Navjeet Bal Commissioner MA Department of Revenue, Al Kapoor Chairman TiE Boston and Lesley Varghese Nixon Peabody LLC & VP SABAH Boston.
