The buzz is on that Amirta Arora is going to get married soon and her best friend Kareena is going to be bridesmaid.  The big fat wedding is supposed to take place in March 2009 but Amrita's not willing to confirm or deny the news. The object of Amrita’s affection is Hyderabadi businessman Shakeel Ladak this time round. Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan have been together for more than a year now. Bebo has recently opened up more in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE magazine and has talked in detail about family approval, marriage, kids and the challenges of being in love. She's said, "I want to get married and have children. I would do anything to keep a relationship going. For me, time is a very precious commodity and I'm always there for Saif.  And that says a lot. It's very easy to talk about fidelity, loyalty and swimming the seven seas but considering the lives we lead, I think the most important thing in a relationship is the amount of time you can spend with each other."

The 'Dilli 6' unit has hired a body double for Abhishek Bachchan. This has spared Abhishek the risk of doing dangerous stunts in the film. Sounds so much like a blessing for baby B. After all he must have got fed up of doing stunts and so much hard work uselessly for that huge flop called 'Drona'. To make things easy for him director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra decided to hire a body double for him from Hollywood, no less for the life risking stunts. The 25 year old Dean Alexandrou has previously done stunts for small time Hollywood films like 'Vampire: The Turning' and 'The Kingmaker'. He has also won the British blackbelt Taekwondo championship in 2001.

Deepika Padukone, who also happens to be the cover-girl of the newly launched magazine called 'Jade' looks a million bucks on the cover will be an understatement.This issue has got the Padukone babe speaking all about her upbringing, her roots, her favourite food, places etc... She also explains as to why and how Mumbai is different from her hometown Bangalore!  And even before you could ask for it, the 'Jade' guys did quiz her about Ranbir Kapoor, to which, the lady in red, replies, "Finding the right person makes a lot of difference. We don't need anyone else, we just love being with each other!"

The promos of 'Dostana' makes one believe that it's the story of a gay couple- JoBhi (John-Abhishek) to be precise. But now the director is going around saying it's only about friendship and nothing else. There's a lot of curiosity and it is confusing movie goers by showing the twosome as a pair of gays walking hand-in-hand on Miami beaches. It has also been speculated to be India's first film which advertises gay sexuality openly. The film shot in Miami has a lot of skin show by John (he's developed a super sexy bod), Priyanka Chopra as well as Bobby Deol and Shilpa Shetty. Abhishek claims to be the attitude of the film! Tarun Mansukhani has reportedly clarified, "John and Abhishek lie that they are a gay couple, and so all other characters (in the story) presume them to be gay, which brings in the fun quotient to the film." Now with John and Abhishek behaving like proper gays, there's bound to be a lot of confusion.

After the roaring success of Singh Is Kinng, Akshay Kumar fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the superstar's next flick, Chandni Chowk To China. While the film was initially supposed to release sometime at the end of this year, it got pushed due to certain reasons and is now scheduled to release on Jan 16, 2009. However, the good news is that the song promo of the film will be out on 23rd of this month. The promo features the title track of the film and is indeed something worth waiting for. Chandni Chowk To China starring Akshay Kumar along with Deepika Padukone is directed by Nikhil Advani and compared to his earlier flicks like Kal Ho Naa Ho and Salaam-e-Ishq, Chandni Chowk To China is much shorter in duration with only 2 hours and 20 mins of running time.
