This is the first time ever a Top DJ like Akbar Sami is being brought to Boston and to New England. DJ Akbar Sami is on a World Tour of his JALWA 2008 CD release from Japan, Narobi, Doha, Australia, Dubai. Now in US, he will be touring San Fransico, Washintgon D.C, Minneapolis, Dallas, Chicago, Boston followed by Toronto.
Some of his achievements include:
Won the All Asian DJ Championship in 1989, Won The DJ Awards "92″, "93″, "96″, Won Channel [V]'s Best Indian Club DJ "98″, "99″.
He has perfomed in major international events - IIFA Awards, Malaysia; IIFA Awards, Singapore; Sansui and Zee Cine Awards, London.
His first super hit album JALWA attained over night success & retained the No. 1. The new JALWA 2008 will be launched under Times Music label in two months.
DJ Akbar Sami has involved with the following major Bollywood movies:
Garam Masala, Kyunki, Koi Aap Sa, Malamaal Weekly, Chup Chup Ke, Shaadi Se Pehle, 36 China Town, Aksar, Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Humko Deewana Kar Gaye, Gangster, Tom Dick and Harry.
