Self Leadership And The Anatomy Of Success

New England Association of Professionals Practicing the Transcendental Meditation® Program invites everyone to a luncheon briefing of Consciousness-BasedSM solutions to today’s problems. Guest speaker Lincoln A. Norton will speak on "Self Leadership: Tools for the High Functioning Professional" on Thursday, June 5, from 11:30 am to 1 pm at Copley Square Legal Sea Foods in Boston.

Lincoln Akin Norton is an entrepreneur in corporate America and a vocal proponent for Consciousness-Based development. He was the director of the New Product Development Group at Business Week/McGraw-Hill; then founder, CEO and chairman of HRSoft, pioneering in the succession planning and management software ExecuTRACK, which serves many Fortune 1000 companies; founder (in 1984) and CEO of The Corporate University (now Corporate Education Resources), a membership organization providing web-based knowledge environments to top executives; and CEO of USA Global Link, Inc., a leader in international telecommunications services and Web-based, global e-commerce. Currently he is the owner and CEO of The Environmental News Network, one of the most respected environmental news sources on the web. Over decades, Mr. Norton has anticipated development in emergent technologies and created new products that have become global standards. He has been active also as an educator and lecturer, organizing or sponsoring over 65 major conferences on business education.

Mr. Norton learned the Transcendental Meditation technique as a Harvard undergraduate. He works closely with Dr. John Hagelin, the Executive Director of the Center for Leadership Performance, on high-level outreach to government and business leaders.

The New England Association of Professionals Practicing the Transcendental Meditation Program is comprised of professionals who are interested in consciousness-based solutions to today's problems. Membership includes professionals from a wide variety of businesses in the Greater Boston area. They meet on a quarterly basis for lunch and speakers who have insight and experience applying these programs. Membership in the association is not required to attend their quarterly luncheons, and visitors are welcome.
