Ash is going to Hollywood once again and this time she'll team up with Oscar winner Meryl Streep. The movie is an adaptation of a French film, Chaos, and focuses on the distress that up shoots when a young prostitute, unintentionally, intrudes into the life of a modern middle class couple.  Reports add that Ash will be playing the role of a prostitute, who suffers physical and mental torture. The film emphasizes on the struggle that the prostitute has to make for her survival, her resurrection and dignity. Although the film’s name has not been officially announced since it has first to be adapted for American audiences, reports confirmed both Ash and Meryl as a part of the project.

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s relationship is worsening day by day. Their romance may have run its race with Kareena finding Saif's unceasing attention oppressive rather that thrilling. According to our source, insecure Saif keeps calling Kareena on her mobile to keep tab on her and recently while the two were in a party Saif even didn’t let Kareena chat with her female friends. This disturbed Kareena so much that she asked Saif to leave the party saying that his attention suffocated her. Shahid Kapoor is a thorough professional and will not let anything come between him and his work. Not even lousy stories that are circulated in print. The actor, however, wishes to clarify his stand on a story printed in a tabloid recently. It said that how Vidya Balan and Shahid had gone out for lunch and did not return for over three hours bringing the shooting of Ken Ghosh's new untitled film produced by UTV to a standstill. But a close friend of Shahid's clarified that, "while that Vidya his co star from Kismat Konnection and a very dear friend had dropped in to say hi after which they proceeded to catch a quick lunch during the lunch time which lasted for 45 mins. And that as a professional Shahid would never hold up work for hours on end just to have lunch with a friend, the story is untrue". Recently there was also another report that Shahid interferes in the shooting of the film and likes calling the shoots for the same.

He was also awarded the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award and honoured with the Sangeet Natak Akademi Fellowship for lifetime achievement. In 1977, Tendulkar won the National Film Award for his screenplay of Shyam Benegal's movie "Manthan".
