All Indian organizations in the New England are coming togther on Sunday September 15, 2002 at Mechanics Hall in Worcester at 2:00 pm, to pay tribute to the victims of 9-11. "It is imperative that all of us attend this event to show our solidarity for our motherland", says Dr. Sahdev Passey, President of IMANE (Indian Medical Association of New England), which is one of the sponsoring organizations.

The event promises to be star-studded one with many local politicians including congressman Jim Mcgovern addressing the crowd. There is also a short cultural event that is being performed by college students and children. "Our adopted country has given us so much and it is our duty to show our support to this country", says Ragini Seth, the President of the Golden Club, another sponsor of this event. Ram Voruganti, the President of the India Assosication of Greater Boston and Pradeep Sharma, the President of the India Society of Worcester strongly urged everyone to attend and show support for this event.
