Sanjay Leela Bhansali has casted Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for the title roles in his forthcoming venture Bajirao Mastani. Moreover, Amitabh Bachchan is also going to essay an important character in the film. The storyline of Bajirao Mastani is based on the true story of Bajirao, his wife Kashibai and his mistress Mastani. Reportedly, even Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor had done a photo session for the role of Bajirao and Mastani respectively. The film will release in 2009.

Soha Ali Khan has no qualms in admitting that her role in Sudhir Mishra's 'Khoya Khoya Chand' is, by far, the most challenging role in her career till date, ever since she debuted in 'Dil Maange More'. "As an actor, I had so much to do in the film, especially because I play an actor in the film. The movie is based on a yesteryear actor," she adds. Shyam Benegal's 'Bhumika' had Smita Patil playing a yesteryear actor, too, and Soha watched the movie very closely, to understand her character.

Within a few weeks into the relationship and the couple, Kareena and Saif  have already had their first fight. The duo had a heated argument at a party and Kareena was even seeing crying. It all happened at a nightclub in Mumbai where they were attending a party thrown by filmmaker and wannabe actor Farhan Akhtar. However when Saif told Kareena to ‘Shut up’, she burst into tears. Rani Mukherjee is tired of denying rumors that she's getting married, a newspaper reported Wednesday. One of India's top actresses, Mukherjee denied Indian media reports that she would wed well-known filmmaker Aditya Chopra in a lavish ceremony in a palace hotel in northern Rajasthan state next year. "How many times are they going to fix the day, venue, honeymoon, etc. for me?" she told The Times of India newspaper. "The media might as well get the wedding cards printed and send me one. I'll just show up for the event." Mukherjee did not specifically deny she was in a relationship with Chopra, but she dismissed the marriage reports as rumors.

Director Farah Khan's Bollywood movie Om Shanti Om has been declared the most successful movie within 3 days of its mega release on 9th of November. Om Shanti Om was released in India during Diwali and within 3 days, the movie claimed to have collected Rs. 84 Crores which crossed the sales of any other Indian Movie released during this period. This movie has been so much successful in the box office that it defeated the sale of the Tom Cruise starrer movie Lions for Lambs which collected 52 Crores till date. Om Shanti Om claimed Rs. 68 Crores in India while it claimed Rs. 16 Crores from US, Canada, Britain and other European Countries. According to Bollywood sources, Shah Rukh Khan is said to have released 2,000 prints of the movie worldwide which is a record in itself.
