Mahalakshmi,
Bhoomidevi, Saraswathi, Neeli, Meenakshi and Kamakshi are considered to
be the Divine incarnation of the Female energy. Famous Bhakti poets
from Jayadeva in the east to Mira in the west and Andal and Thirmangai
Azhwar in the south have used "woman" as a symbol of the Atma or
the individual soul longing to unite with the Paramatama. For
Subramanya Bharathi woman is the symbol of hope and joy for the future.
The program is a tribute to womanhood.
