Mango Rice

250 gm cooked rice

1 unripe mango

1 teaspoon fenugreek seeds powder

1 table spoon red chilli powder

1 table spoon coriander seeds powder

1 table spoon curry leaves

1 table spoon jaggery powder

1 table spoon mustard

1 table spoon broken black gram

5 table spoon grated coconut

5 table spoon oil

Salt to taste

Method:

Peel the outer skin of the mango, grate the mango and keep aside. Heat 5 table spoon oil in a pan, and then add mustard seeds. When the mustard starts spluttering add broken black gram, curry leaves. After few seconds add grated mango, red chilli powder, coriander seeds powder, jaggery and mix well. Remove the pan from the fire. Add cooked rice, fenugreek seeds powder, grated coconut, and salt according to taste and mix well uniformly. Transfer into serving bowl. Delicious mango rice is ready to taste

 Mango Pachadi

Ingredients:

1 half ripe Mango

1 table spoon oil

1 table spoon mustard

1 table spoon red chilli powder

1 table spoon coriander seeds powder

1 table spoon jaggery powder

Few curry leaves

Salt to taste

Method:

Cut mango into medium size pieces and keep aside. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard. When mustard splutters add curry leaves. Then after few seconds, add mango pieces, chilli powder, coriander seeds powder, jaggery powder and salt according to taste. Mix all the ingredients well, and then add some water and cook for some time till the water is evaporated. Delicious mango pachadi is ready .

Mango Dessert

Ingredient

3to 4 ripe sweet mangoes

Sugar according to taste

6  almonds

½ cup spoon cardamom powder

½ cup fresh cream

Method

Remove the pulp from the mangoes and blend the pulp without adding water. Transfer the content to a bowl. Add fresh cream, sugar according to taste, cardamom powder. Cut the almond into fine pieces. Add the cut almond pieces and mix well. Pour the mixture into several cups and place it in the refrigerator. Serve chilled.
