Newly wed couple Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan are honeymooning apparently in Tahiti. On arrival at Auckland, Ash and Abhishek reportedly disembarked using a separate entrance from other business class passengers for their onward journey to Tahiti. They did not exit the Auckland airport. Reports add that Ash and Abhishek were escorted out of a Singapore Airlines flight through a separate entrance, which separated them from the other business class passengers, on their arrival in Auckland. Later they headed towards Tahiti.

Recently while shooting in Durban for Abbas-Mustan's Race Bipasha gave her friends a nasty scare.She suddenly decided to withdraw into a shell." She suddenly became a recluse. Wouldn't go out with us. Would just disappear after shoot," says one of her co-stars.Explains Bipasha, "Sometimes even I have my moods. I know they all got anxious. I was going out every night with them. Usually I don't go out while I'm shooting because I like to report the next morning on time, and fresh. But in Durban they'd all wait for me to finish gym and we'd all go out every night." After twenty days of swinging till the wee hours Bipasha had a mood swing. "I just didn't want to go out any longer. They got panicky. 'What happened? What's wrong?' Akshaye Khanna got specially insistent.

'U, ME aur HUM' is the name of the movie which will not only be produced but also directed by Ajay Devgan. It is Ajay's first venture into Bollywood as a director, but it will be Devgan Entertaiment's second venture after 'Raju Chacha' in 2000. It is a romantic story where Ajay plays the lead along with his wife Kajol. The other co-stars include Sumeet Raghvan, Karan Khanna and Isha Sharvani. The story of the film is written by Robin Bhatt, Sutanu Gupta and Akash Khurana. The musical score will be handled by Vishal Bharadwaj.

Though heavily pregnant, Raveena Tandon turned up at Anand Studios in Bandra on Thursday to do her bit for debutant Pammi Somal’s English film Mummyji. The actress was slated to render a bhangra number initially with Gurdas Mann, who is making a special appearance and rendering a track in the film. Obviously, now that Raveena is expecting for the second time, she could not do the jig with Mann. Raveena still honoured her commitment in another way. Raveena has now lent her voice to the film and will also introduce the character of Mummyji.

Richard Gere kiss at an AIDS awareness campaign was amplified in a big way. Certain segments of society claim that the kiss was acrimonious and has hurt the sentiments of many Indians. A city court in Jaipur, Rajasthan has issued an arrest warrant against Richard Gere on Thursday and asked Shilpa to appear before it on May 5.  The judge who issued obscenity charges against Richard Gere for publicly kissing Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has been transferred from his job, it was reported today. Shilpa Shetty defended Gere at the press conference that was held following the controversy stating that India is known for treating its guests well as the slogan Atithi Devo Bhava (meaning the guest is equal to god) is an integral part of our culture. She said that we cannot question Gere regarding our culture, as he is a foreigner working for the cause of Indians.

Bollywood actress Tabu, who achieved eminence through her roles in experimental and offbeat films like "Astitva" and "The Namesake", says she would prefer to act in comedies now. "I have made audiences cry as much as possible. Now I would like to make them laugh," she said. She added that she prefers watching comedies too.

Priyadarshan, a director active in Bollywood as well as South Indian cinema, has denied that he is remaking Tamil blockbuster "Chandramukhi" in Hindi. Priyadarshan said the Hindi film he is currently directing is "Bhool Bhulaiya" starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan and it is not a remake of the Rajnikant starrer. He said that "Bhool Bhulaiya", is in fact, a remake of Malayalam film "Manichitrathazhu" and the remake rights had been bought for Rs.10.5 million.
