Bollywood Talent presents an
exciting Indian Springtime Festival - Baishaki Mela on Saturday, April
21, 2007. The weekend festivities will kick off with free admission to
the Baishaki Mela fair, with vendors coming from across the Northeast
to offer all the best of Indian specialty food, artwork, clothing and
other exclusive Indian products. Bollywood stars Han Raj Hans and Mona
Singh will add sparkle to the festivities with their special
performances. For the first time, celebrate an Indian springtime
tradition, right in the heart of Boston! The Baishaki Mela is
taking place at the Cyclorama, Boston Center for the Arts, 539 Tremont
Street, Boston, from 12 - 6 PM. The fun and excitement
continues with a Talent Show at the John Hancock Hall, 180 Berkeley
Street, from 7 to 10 PM (just a few walking blocks away from the
Cyclorama). The event will be co-hosted by Mona Singh and will include
thrilling performances by Hans Raj Hans. Lucky qualifying
participants will have the chance to compete in two events, a Group
Dance competition and a Miss India New England competition, and be
judged by a panel of illustrious judges including Mr. Hans and Ms.

their careers in the Bollywood industry. Don’t miss the performance of
Bollywood’s next superstar!!! Bollywood Talent brings the
celebrations back to the Cyclorama from 10 PM onwards for an After-show

Talent was founded in 2002 by a dedicated group of Indians living in
Boston, with the vision of Ravi Chaudhary. Bollywood Talent is
dedicated to celebrating the South Asian culture for all. Talent Shows
in past years have headlined other Bollywood celebrities Sunidhi
Chauhan and Sonu Nigam and launched the careers of young local talent
in the Hollywood and Bollywood industries. Bollywood Talent has
inspired other Indian cultural events in the Boston area that have
gained national attention. Bollywood Talent thanks all of its sponsors
for making this cultural celebration possible.
