Every Fortnight we try to bring you the latest in what is happening in and around New England. Lokvani is as much yours as much as ours and we are grateful to our sponsors, supporters, contributors and our readers for their continued enthusiasm to what we do. 

In this issue, check out our local events that are bringing the Arts and Culture of India. From the Arts of India at Peabody and an interview with Prajit Gupta to the discussion of Language from the Meru Foundation and the Learn Quest Conference there is a lot that one can enjoy. We also congratulate Neelam Wali and Ramesh Advani as commissioners of the Asian American Commission. It is indeed an honor to be part of this body. We hope that in future we shall see many more Indian Americans involved in these activities. Lastly we have our host of regular features like reviews of films, music, recipes etc.
