Nashua, NH: On Sunday January 21, volunteers from the India Association of New Hampshire’s Public Service group began the New Year by serving lunch to over fifty guests at the Nashua Soup Kitchen. This marked the start of 2007 service activities, which will extend throughout the year.
The New Hampshire Nashua Indian-American Young Adults group joined the association’s team to perform the service. The volunteers comprising of Srikanth Vaidyanathan, Sai Krishnamurthy, Gaurishankar, Lav Aneja, and Geetha Sudhir prepared pasta and garlic bread. Ravi Datla and Ramkumar later joined the team to serve the meal.
The Association is committed to Public Service and signed a contract the soup kitchen to provide lunch service throughout 2007. We welcome anyone to join our team of volunteers. Please contact Barinder Ahluwalia (publicservice@ianh.org) to join the team of volunteers. As always we welcome donations and sponsorship to our Public Service activities.
