Is it possible to predict the future?

Some astrologers say that it is possible to predict the future. in India the Naadi oracles are said to contain the exact destiny of every person who consults them. And of course Nostradamus is said to have predicted the future of mankind. Or could it be that we sometimes make the predictions, forecasts and Quadrants fit in ways we would would like.
