In addition, there will be a cultural program performed by the youths and Dhvaj Vandan ceremony to mark India.s Republic Day.

Shaakotsav:
Lord Shri Swaminarayan organized many memorable events during his time on this earth. One such event, Shaakotsav, an auspicious event when Lord Swaminarayan cooked the eggplant meal for all saints and satsangis, was first held in Loya, Gujarat. The eggplant meal was so delicious that each devotee got the taste (sweet, bitter, salty, spicy, etc) of his liking.

Vasant Panchmi (Shikshapatri Jayanti):
Written by Lord Shri Swaminarayan.s own blissful hand on Vasant Panchmi day of Vikram Samvat 1882, Shikshaptri is a booklet of 212 slokas (commandments). Shriji Maharaj sat in the Hari Mandap, His residence at Vadtal temple, and wrote it in Sanskrit. He instructed Saint Nityanand Swami to translate it into Gujarati. It has since been translated in other languages.
