Lahari Indian Film Music Nite - A Preview

On January 20th 2007, Lahari will present a mix of foot tapping and entertaining Indian film music, from classic to contemporary times, in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu. Lahari has been delighting audiences with their melodious and lively music for over five years. Based in Boston, MA, Lahari has been performing in the New England/New York area at events organized by various Indian associations.
Lahari's talented vocalists are Shobha Hiremath, Madhu Akkihebbal, Meera Rajagopal, Jayanth Kananur, Satish Bhat, Sumana Bhat, and Padmini Narayan. They are accompanied by Sudhir Srinivasan on the guitar, Satish Bhat on the keyboard, and Sandesh Bhat on percussion.

Admission to the concert is $5 for ages 6 years and above. Admission plus vegetarian buffet dinner is $13 for ages 12 and above and $9 for ages 6 to 11. For children under 6 years, admission and dinner are free when accompanied by a paying adult. Please reserve your seats early, as space is limited at the venue!
