We wish you all a Happy India Independence day. In a world full of turmoil and events that are of grave concern, it is important to understand the value of  freedom and a democratic way of life so that  citizens  can enjoy life, liberty and happiness to the fullest extent.

Friday August 15th , 1947  India became Free. We reproduce here one of the  newspapers that had the news in its pages. Dr Rajendra Prasad, President  in his speech has a quote that resonates with the world today . He said " Let us then assure all countries of the world that we propose to stick to our historic tradition to be on terms of friendship and amity with all". He goes on to say that "we have only one ambition and desire, and that is to make our contribution to the building up of freedom for all and peace among mankind"
