NGF Partners With BCC To Raise Funds

Press Release 07/12/2006
Next Generation Foundation (NGF - http://www.nextgenfoundation.org),
a registered socio-charitable 501 (c) (3) public charity organization
with the primary goal of supporting the education of underprivileged
children in India. We are pleased to announce that we have teamed with
the Burlington Cricket Club (BCC - http://www.burlingtoncricket.org), to organize the BCC Cup, an annual cricket tournament in its third year now, in the first two weeks of August.
BCC
is a not-for-profit group of cricket enthusiasts who play cricket for
fun and keep the game alive and kicking in the Greater Boston area. The
BCC Cup brings together "over 24 cricket teams, each made up of 11
members, and 16 overs-a-side to play". Over a course of 2
weekends in August, the teams compete with each other for the BCC Cup.
This
year is the first time the Next Generation Foundation has partnered up
with the BCC to further its cause. Our objective for this
partnership is to raise funds to sponsor underprivileged kids with
food, clothing and education! Did you know that $60-$70 is all it takes
to sponsor a kid in an underdeveloped country?
You can support this cause for as little as $50,
although we do also offer various levels of sponsorships with different
levels of benefits in terms of advertisement potential, etc. We had a
turnout of approximately 500 people last year. This year we are
expecting a crowd of 700-800 people (including about 200 participants)
and all sponsorships/donations are tax- deductible. Each $100 of your donation can help support 1 child for 1 year.
So,
please consider sponsoring/donating to the dual causes of the unifying
game of Cricket that fosters amity among the South Asian community in
Greater Boston and the education of underprivileged children, while
getting the goodwill and the benefits from the good exposure that
you/your business would be getting from the tournament. Please find
below a summary of the different sponsorship levels.
