The 2006 Spring National Small Business Innovation Research Conference & Small Business Tech ExpoSBIR/STTR: Taking Ideas from the Bench to the Boardroom May 15-18, 2006 Louisville Marriott Hotel Downtown - Louisville, Kentuckywww.SBIRworld.com/KY Interested in obtaining part of the $2 billion the U.S. government is making available to small businesses this year? The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)/Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Conference may be the answer. To help entrepreneurs take their ideas from conception to reality, the federal government provides over $2 billion in grants and contracts under the SBIR and STTR programs.
The National SBIR/STTR Conference in Louisville, Kentucky will teach participants how to get a piece of the pie. The Conference also provides participants with networking opportunities with SBIR/STTR Program Managers and Conference experts such as previous SBIR/STTR award winners, speakers, businesspersons, and government employees willing to share their knowledge of the SBIR/STTR process. As a special addition, we have co-located the Small Business Tech Expo (SBTE) with the Conference. This Expo will showcase new technologies, support services available to small business and technology development, and commercialization.

BUT there is MORE!!! This spring, we are happy to announce that through the generous sponsorship and assistance from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency and the National Science Foundation, the Small Business Technology Expo (SBTE) will be co-located with the SBIR/STTR National Conference!
The SBTE is a focused expo just for attendees at the National Conference. The SBTE provides small companies the opportunity to showcase their innovations to an audience looking for partnerships….it provides large companies with the chance to see what is new and to also talk to potential small business partners about future ventures.
The traditional SBIR/STTR Networking Area will be co-located with the SBTE to make it convenient for all attendees to take advantage of all the resources being presented at this Conference.
