PROBLEM # 1 Divide
$155 (in whole $ increments) into a number of bags so that I can ask
for any amount between $1 and $155, and you can give me the proper
amount by giving me a certain number of these bags without opening
them. What is the minimum number of bags you will require? FOR GROWNUPS
PROBLEM # 2 A
group of four people has to cross a bridge. It is dark, and they have
to light the path with a flashlight. No more than two people can cross
the bridge simultaneously, and the group has only one flashlight. It
takes different time for the people in the group to cross the bridge: A crosses the bridge in 1 minute, B crosses the bridge in 2 minutes, C crosses the bridge in 5 minutes, D crosses the bridge in 10 minutes. How can the group cross the bridge in 17 minutes?
