One of Bollywood's most eligible bachelors ties a knot this week.Fardeen Khan weds Natasha Madhvani, daughter of yesteryear actress Mumtaz, on December 14. The wedding took place on the ground-floor Grand Ballroom of the Grand Hyatt, and Fardeen had made arrangements for the media in the Drawing Room, on the first floor.  The week-long festivities will end on December 16, with a grand, star-studded reception. 

Bollywood actor Salman Khan gave a Bombay court a hair-raising excuse as to why he failed to show up for his trial- he was recovering from hair implants. The court accepted the action hero’s explanation and canceled an arrest warrant, which had been issued. On Thursday, the Bombay High Court granted Khan a respite until Dec. 20. While Khan didn’t appear before the Bombay High Court on Thursday, his lawyer Shyam Marwari said doctors had advised him to remain at home since he was still undergoing the hair treatment. He did not specify how much longer the actor would be indisposed.

Aishwarya Rai's packed schedule is proving to be a blessing in disguise for Priyanka Chopra, who has replaced her in a good number of films. Aishwarya is the last to be affected by such news. She said I wish Priyanka the best of luck in her endeavor. But Ash needn't worry about people replacing her. In fact, she's got a record number of period films lined up from 'Jodha Akbar' to 'Umrao Jaan' and Ketan Mehta's 'Jhansi Ki Rani'." However, his business manager admits she was upset with the makers of "Bluffmaster" when Priyanka replaced her in the film without her knowledge. Priyanka has taken Aishwarya's place in three films so far - "Bluffmaster", "Krrish" and "Sahib Biwi Aur Ghulam".

MF Hussain is known for much more than just his paintings. Like his fascination with Madhuri Dixit, and secondly, his feet which are always bare. "It's not a taboo," Hussain explains, "It's only for health reasons— acupressure and all. But when it's too cold, I do wear shoes."
And what about his other love — movies? "I am making two movies based on my autobiography. The first movie will be directed by my son and the second one would probably be a comedy with Kajol."

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, arrested Saturday after his car hit a boy, is upset with the media hounding."Saif ne kuchal dala (Saif ran over a young boy). Rich star kid goes berserk... Man, what is this? I am tired of this kind of media hounding that we always have to go through."Saif is a bit agitated. He has just been to jail and is out on bail. And all happened within 24 hours, and for no fault of his. "It happened like this," he recalls."I had just finished my rehearsals for the MTV awards on Friday afternoon and was driving back home, when a kid ran across the road. My car skidded and hit his foot, mind you, just his foot nothing else. "I was immediately concerned. And I am proud to say I did the right thing. I got off my car, put the kid, mind you he's 13 and fully aware of his rights, into my car and drove him to the hospital. At first we thought all was fine. Later the doctor detected a broken tibia."

Arjun Sablok is distressed by rumours that his film "Neal 'N' Nikki" has 21 kisses and is based on the Hollywood movie "American Pie". "I don't know where this is coming from. But I'm tired of people presuming there are 21 kisses in 'Neal 'N' Nikki'. Absolutely not! Please, don't gimme such a sleazy cheesy image. My film has 21 women, yes. But they aren't all kissing. For the record there're only three kisses in my film."The story doing the rounds about the next Yash Raj film is that it's hotter to the touch than all their recent hip-and-happening films... and that it's like "American Pie"."But my film is nothing like 'American Pie'. 'Neal 'N' Nikki' is an absolutely original romantic comedy."But the director reluctantly lets the cat out of the bag and admits: " 'Neal 'N' Nikki' is a very steamy film. Uday Chopra plays a guy who wants to be with as many women as possible before the day of his arranged marriage. Since he has 21 days before D-Day he has an extended bachelor's vacation. He wants to be with 21 girls in 21 days."

It is a tough time for Bipasha Basu who is shuttling between the sets of Madhur Bhandarkar's "Corporate" and Lilavati Hospital where her fiancé John Abraham is being treated for typhoid.Barely had she received John from the airport Wednesday night on his return from Afghanistan than he had to be hospitalised. Coping with this new problem and her workload isn't easy. But she is managing. "John is fine. The tests are done. The results will take sometime. But he's being treated for typhoid," Bipasha told IANS.
