Movie : Kyon ki
Language: Hindi
Producer: Mukesh Talreja and Sunil Manchanda
Music : Himesh Reshammiya
Lyrics : Sameer
Director: Priyadarshan
*ing:  Salman Khan,  Kareena Kapoor

Happening Himesh Reshmaiyya seems to be on a roll in 2005 with yet another potential hit Kyon Ki. On the heels of  'Aashiq Banaya Aapne'  , which was one of the best selling albums of 2005  Himesh is rocking with  another soundtrack  for the movie Kyon Ki starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor.   The music showcases well the talents of Udit Narayan and Alka  Yagnik and they have created some special  romantic duets.

Himesh Reshmaiyya has presented four versions of the title song – Kyon Ki Itna Pyar. With good lyrics and a strong base melody the song does stir up a few emotions. Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik have come up with a memorable song in the first version. Great musical arrangements provide the right effects and one can quite imagine it causing a few hearts to go pitter-patter when Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor  dance to this tune. The two are coming together for the first time to do a film. In the fourth version Himesh has used newcomer Radha for the female vocals. While she does pale in comparison with Alka Yagnik, she has done terrific job for a beginner.

Kunal Ganjanwala provides some unusual vocals for the next song Dil Keh Raha Hai. Himesh has used his versatile singing ability to advantage. The song starts with pure vocals and soon transforms itself into a foot tapping number. Kunal sings with passion and Himesh has done justice to Sameer’s lyrics with the musical composition.  This song can reach out to the young and the old.

Dil Ke Badle Sanam is yet another romantic track as the lyrics suggest. Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik give yet another fine performance.  Lot of feeling makes this simple song rather special.

Kailash Kher sings the opening lines of   Jhatka Maare . The song  adds a tapori touch to the album. A party pleaser one can imagine the teenage crowd getting hooked to the beats. So what does ' Goli Maare Tera Dupatta  mean?. Perhaps better not to ask!  Udit Narayan and Shaan add their vocals to this number to create a fun number that is sure to hit the charts.

Aa Je Le Ik Pal Mein Sau Janam ' is the final track of the album. Extremely lively and sung well, it has so much that belongs to Rajesh Roshan style of music A nice piece with lyrics by Sanjay Chhel. Once again Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik render the song with great feeling.

I am not a great fan of Salman Khan but off late he has been hitting gold at the box office. Kareena always delivers decent performances. With good music one can imagine the movie to be quite a hit in the box office!
