NA Miss Program held its Massachusetts state level program in the North Shore community of Danvers in the beautiful Ferncroft Sheraton Resort. 6 year old
Nikita Shalabh, daughter of Shalabh Rastogi and Jalina George, participated in the princess category of the pageant and played “Ode to Joy” and “Happy Birthday to you” on the piano. She received the 3rd prize in the talent competition, competing with about 160 contestants from all over the state of Massachusetts.

North America Miss program (http://www.namiss.com) is like no other, designed to help girls develop an empowering poise and self-confidence. The national level pageant focuses on rewarding talent and not beauty alone, for this reason they have a strict policy of no swim suit rounds and no makeup at allduring the entire pageant. All competitions are based on talent judgment.

All the talent performances are to be performed live solo in front of the audience and a panel of judges that includes professional dancers, singers, actors
and other media personalities.

Nikita is from Worcester, MA. Her father works as a software engineer for Investors Bank and Trust and her mother  is involved in may voluntary contribututions to the school system in Worcester.
